It’s a rainy day. I had some time on Youtube, and what I find? Jeremy Clarkson going to Japan to check out the touge, Wangan and a drift event. I knew I liked that Clarkson bloke. 😉
I’d never though that I’d see a video with Jeremy Clarkson and Keiichi Tsuchiya at the same time. This was “Old Top Gear”, but it’s still worth a look, if you have a few minutes for a fun little video throwback.
You have to love Senna, not only for his achievements in Formula 1, but for his love of competition karting. Check out this video where he advocates many of the core values of being involved in karting.
Honestly, I think that no matter what form of motorsport that you participate in, having experience in a kart is incredibly useful. Worked for Senna, so it works for me. 😉
It’s beyond obvious why we’re showing this video to you. Only in Japan would you see something this epic. (Helps that the roads are super smooth.)
There is something serene about this S14 drifting on an open track. Thanks to Casey from Shirtstuckedin for taking this picture.
I’ve always been a fan of vintage motorsport videos. Check out the rally AW-11 around 5:16
Got a good laugh out of this itasha Cappuchino. Thanks to Alexi at Noriyaro for the find.
