For readers of Autosport, you know this question. But it’s not the whole story. You might say that Lola had some of the worst F1 cars to date, but when did you ever decide to build a racing car on a £2 million budget?
Lola did, and it was okay. I will go into every bit of detail regarding the Lola Formula One Team that applied for entry in the 2010 FiA Formula One World Championship – an offer that the FiA refused.
I’d like your opinion on this clip I found on Youtube of the FIA GT1 Championship. It looks like that Richard Westbrook (in the GTR) missed a corner, accidently taking off Stefan Mucke in the Aston Martin.
What’s bizzard is that Mucke then bursts back onto the track, and looks like he rammed Westbrook back in revenge! I’ve been reading about this on Twitter, but this was the first time I’ve seen the video in person!
What do you think? Mucke is under investigation to having his racing license suspended because of this. Fair or Unfair?
A few days ago, we had an article about last year’s Aston Martin LMP1 car. Personally, think that it’s beautiful. However, here are some images of this year’s competitor. Powered by a turbocharged V6, you can tell that AMR has decided to move to the open top endurance racer. However, what do you think about the lines on this car?
Reminds me of a Panoz.
Some racing prototypes just look beautiful. This one has it all in the eyes.
Just to keep with the green theme of St. Patrick’s Day, here is a video featuring the Aston Martin Vantage endurance race car for the Nurburgring 24hr.
Just to show that the Aston Martin team have a sense of humor, they gave the car a name. “Kermit” Here are some videos of “Kermit” in action.
