This Street-Parked post is brought to us by Hans Arend de Wit, one of our StartingGrid.org followers. He’s been submitting pictures to us for the past few weeks, and one thing has been made super clear.
Hans loves Thunderbirds, and we love him for loving Thunderbirds. From what I understand from reading Hans’ own blog, this Thunderbird had been restored after being pulled from a swamp and submerged.
Click below to see a gallery of this recovered beauty. Thanks to Hans for the submission! We’d love to see some words from him in the comments, giving us more information on this wonderful find.

What a nice set of pictures! The squarebird series of T-birds are often difficult models to make look nice. I have a friend with a first generation T-bird; perhaps we’ll have to toy with a series like this one. First to find a place with large grained sand.
It’s an adventure with a time span of quite few months. First I spotted the spectacular T-Bird, and met the couple that drove her. We started talking and continued to see each other, made trips and had dinner at each other’s houses.
